“Lights Up High” is a new music showcase that will be held sporadically at the penthouse bar at the W Hotel. Each event will feature one DJ headliner, along with support from some of the top regional and local acts in Texas.
“Los Angeles dubstep god” and leader of the SMOG RECORDS collective, 12th Planet, will be headlining the inaugural event that will kick-off the festivities. Lights Up High’s opening acts for the show will include local DFW talent, including WishFM.
The penthouse bar on top of the W Hotel features a spectacular 250-degree panoramic view of Dallas. The space has played host to performances from the likes of Justin Timberlake, Tiesto, Steve Aoki, Timbaland, DJ AM, Paul Oakenfold, Erykah Badu and Outkast, among many others.
